Program Overview
The Sea Odyssey program is a 3-hour learning experience
that takes place aboard the 65-foot Team O’Neill
catamaran with follow-up lessons at the shore-side Education
Center. Prior to the trip the instructors give a brief
introduction to the program and outfit each child with
a life jacket. Upon boarding the Team O’Neill Catamaran
the students are given a safety speech and assist the
crew in hoisting the main sail. Each group is split into
3 sub-groups, which rotate through three stations: Marine
Biology, Ecology
and Navigation.
